Kristen Mansharamani, Founder & Board Chair
With an undergraduate degree from Yale, a law degree from Harvard, a background in public financing, and five years as a litigator at Ropes & Gray, Kristen opened the doors of Torit in 2008 when her oldest child was two.
In addition to her professional experience, Kristen's study of classical ballet gives her a unique perspective on the world, and she brings an eclectic combination of discipline, humor, creativity, and play to all she does as Torit's Board Chair and inspires the staff to do the same.
"Torit has grown every year since we opened, with the help of our phenomenal faculty and staff. Each of them brings a wealth of experience, a terrific sense of humor and teamwork, and an inspiring level of creativity and flexibility. Guiding bright and capable students toward impactful citizenship through a myriad of mind-opening experiences is my passion."
Kristen currently serves as Advocate for Special Education and Head of Office of Special Education Advocacy for the State of New Hampshire
